As the advancement in construction machinery is spreading
and hence the importance of professionally trained employees is also
increasing. The construction industry is now recruiting professionals from
around the world, who are well trained and specifically educated about the
industry. Many universities in different countries have established special
centers for building studies and construction engineering. With such
innovations in the machinery design and educating employees, training of
workers and labors, one important contribution in the field is building Green
Construction Industry. However, this idea is still making its point and will be
able to bring a remarkable change in the environmental change and will be of
great significance as one way to reduce global warming pollution with "net
economic benefit." The construction equipments like wheel loaders, diesel
forklifts, used construction heavy excavators, road rollers, bulldozers, motor graders, road graders etc
omit toxic fumes which are not good for our environment, so building green
construction industry will not just benefit the builders and contractors but
also the general public, as they would be able to enjoy fresh air without any
harmful fumes or gases. Road rolling equipment manufacturers should also take this into account.

Construction Machinery in China is booming from past couple of years. Not just China, but
the worldwide industry of Construction equipments is also emerging at very remarkable
pace. China being the hub of these used construction machinery, many countries
are buying equipments from China. The key attraction behind buying these
equipments from China is the affordable prices and outstanding condition of
machines.
There are not just the road rolling equipment manufacturers operating in China for the production of new machinery, but also many of the traders are also being involved and have introduced themselves as the distributors/wholesalers of used construction machinery. It looks like there will be limited used construction machinery available, but the reality is totally opposite. China is actually the hub of used construction equipments and have a humungous variety of these equipments, may it be wheel loaders, forklifts, excavators, used construction heavy excavators, bulldozers, road construction machinery, motor graders and etc.

There
are various distributors operating in different parts of China as the suppliers
of these equipments. They are using different online business/trading portals
to expand their businesses since the biggest hurdle in reaching to the general
public and global businesses is the language barrier. However, these online B2B
portals are proving to be very valuable and effective for these distributors
and manufacturers in expanding their business operations and hence making their
significant reputation in the global construction market.
It
was a hot sunny day. I reached office and had a cup of tea just to relax
myself. After a while just like I used to check my email, I saw an email from
this Russian buyer. He emailed me about his interest in used cranes and told me
that he had been in touch with different people from road rolling equipment manufacturers or used construction equipment
suppliers. But somehow, he managed to find me and told me about his
interest in used cranes.
He
actually didn’t contact me out of the blue, there were some efforts involved
from my end so all and all it was an aligned process. I previously got some
information regarding the potential buyers and emailed the relevant people.
Russian buyer was one of them. I told him about our company and that we deal in
used construction equipments like used construction heavy excavators, used wheel loaders, used forklifts, used
cranes, used road rollers and bulldozers. Then he showed interest in Kato
cranes and we discussed the details and specs. He then gave me the details
about his visit to China and we received him from his hotel and took him to the
factory. There he inspected the machines and we successfully managed to meet
him within the given time frame. However, the condition of the machine was not
up to the mark according to him so he didn’t buy anything.
Working in such a huge industry of Construction Machinery and being a Marketing Consultant for a Construction Equipment Supplier, I have came across different types of buyers from around the globe. The major contribution was from Arab countries like Dubai, Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The second most popular region was Middle East and Asia. To be specific, Bangladesh had shown huge interest in the construction machinery business and especially in used equipment. The buyers from Bangladesh are serious and ready to invest without any second thoughts.
But what I faced while being in contact with the buyer and the supplier that payment terms between both of them didn't match. The buyer wanted to pay through LC (Letter of Credit), however the supplier couldn't agree to anything other than TT.
The buyer was interested in used construction heavy excavators of Tadano brand but because of this disagreement on payment terms the deal couldn't get through. The supplier if would have taken this thing seriously, then it would have given him good business. And the beauty of this industry is your one time buyer becomes your life time buyer. So it would have been a healthy business if gotten through.
