When you operate from B2B portals, emailing is one of the most influential tools. People in this industry share information via email either it be a quotation, introductory or marketing email or a general feedback. Calling is also a very useful tool but is costly for country to country.

I have been engaging buyers and contacting through both means i.e. call and email. My member is of construction machinery and hence acknowledging the buyers about our business is the core business goal. I designed a email for my member’s company and included useful information in it to acknowledge the buyers about our the products we have like used construction heavy excavators, wheel loaders, cranes, forklifts, road rollers etc.

This email marketing has helped me generating different potential leads just within a week of the VIP member’s account. I believe buyers find it very convenient when a supplier comes to him by himself. And the database of Tradekey has helped me in achieving this to the best level. There I cannot just look for buyers but also can take useful information from road rolling equipment manufacturers in terms of targeting different regions for leads.



It is my deal task to connect buyers with my supplier. Since it’s not just my job, it’s an ethical obligation as well. Today I connected my supplier with a Buyer who is from Bangladesh and wanted to buy used construction heavy excavators and specifically wanted a CAT 320 Model.

I immediately concerned my supplier and talked to her about the required product. We then shared the prices along with the pictures with him. Apparently, the buyer thought the price is high but since I believe it’s my duty to think for buyers too. I conducted a comparative analysis of our products prices from other competitor suppliers. It is important for a successful consultant to have the knowledge of both ends i.e. the customers and the suppliers. I even concerned with the road rolling equipment manufacturers to get the idea of new machinery. However, it was proved that the price was fair and market competitive. I kept on emphasizing that the prices we have shared with the buyer were satisfactory and will be beneficial for both the parties. Since, we work through web and B2B portals then trusting someone is a very difficult job but sharing true information even if it might lose you a potential buyer can always be the basis of your credibility.

Today, after coming to office I quickly started working on member's social media accounts and Tradekey profile. Now Member's Tradekey profile is integrated to VIP Membership and is full of products. What a good feeling when you get accomplished in something you worked really hard for. Member's showcase products consist of many used equipments some of which include used construction heavy excavators, used bulldozers, used loaders, used cranes, used forklifts and used rollers. All of them show their complete specifications and useful details along with their pictures.

The day was invested mostly on the preparation of company's product catalog and member accounts on social media websites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. While making the accounts and putting up the useful details like company's background, area of expertise and product details I witnessed many construction machinery dealers and manufacturers like road rolling equipment manufacturers and distributors etc being very attentive and present on these social media networks. I see a lot of potential in this area.

After a rainy comes a more refreshing day because the smell of rain always lifts your soul up to the skies. I was motivated and ready to deliver what my employer Tradekey promises to its customers and that is complete satisfaction and proper service. I logged in to my computer and started working for the client from the morning. And after all the dedication and in depth involvement in the process, the client's account have been sent for up-gradation to VIP membership.

Tradekey is a B2B portal for businesses to communicate among themselves and generate sales in huge amount. Their basic target is to attract small business and providing them the opportunity to expand. 

Tradekey has a versatile pool of businesses from road rolling equipment manufacturers to used construction machinery suppliers. However, my client is a supplier or a trader of used construction equipments. For every business you must know what are the main products you want to focus on. My client's main products include used construction heavy excavators loaders, and bulldozers.


There's a saying for every successful venture you have to start from the scratch and only then you can feel it’s true essence. I started working on this new client of used construction machinery. Prior experience in this field has made me an industry specialist. I have a strong command on dealing with different buyers and suppliers from road rollingequipment manufacturers to normal used equipments buyers. This industry has enhanced my knowledge and has given me full proficiency in all the operations of making a successful deal.

The beginning phase is 'creating the profile', containing all the authentic products and other information. Tradekey works with thousands and millions of buyers and suppliers. Since this Client is for VIP Membership, so I am personally taking care of their up gradation process. Adding different products in their profile like used constructionheavy excavators, used cranes, used wheel loaders etc. Then one major service involves providing Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing to the VIP member, which enriches the reach of Client's website and products. In this way they are able to target wider market and cater to larger audience.



Today is a great day, the weather was beautiful and the roads were clean. I had a very positive feeling from the moment I woke up. I reached my Tradekey office and I was introduced to a new company i.e. Ruilan Co. Ltd. I was told the nature of the business and since I had prior experience in Used Construction Industry so I was really excited to work for this new client which seemed to be very potential to me. The suppliers, buyers, traders and wholesalers; all are back and I will be interacting with all. Either they are road rolling equipment manufacturers or any other construction machinery suppliers.
 
The introduction went really well. To be good at something, you need to put your efforts in. Though interest is the field is very necessary in achieving better results. Starting from industry knowledge to functioning of the machinery, from the specifications of the equipments to better relationship building with the buyers; all of them play a significant role. 

Talked to the company person to whom I will be in contact throughout. Talked about their company and equipments they have, like from used construction heavy excavators to wheel loaders, forklifts to road rollers and so on. I hope this new starting will have a better and happy ending. Being positive always helps you and allows you to grow.



It was a hot sunny day. I reached office and had a cup of tea just to relax myself. After a while just like I used to check my email, I saw an email from this Russian buyer. He emailed me about his interest in used cranes and told me that he had been in touch with different people from road rolling equipment manufacturers or used construction equipment suppliers. But somehow, he managed to find me and told me about his interest in used cranes.

He actually didn’t contact me out of the blue, there were some efforts involved from my end so all and all it was an aligned process. I previously got some information regarding the potential buyers and emailed the relevant people. Russian buyer was one of them. I told him about our company and that we deal in used construction equipments like used construction heavy excavators, used wheel loaders, used forklifts, used cranes, used road rollers and bulldozers. Then he showed interest in Kato cranes and we discussed the details and specs. He then gave me the details about his visit to China and we received him from his hotel and took him to the factory. There he inspected the machines and we successfully managed to meet him within the given time frame. However, the condition of the machine was not up to the mark according to him so he didn’t buy anything.
